Aromas of blueberries, black olives, and light walnuts follow through to a medium body with fine, polished tannins and a light coffee and blackberry aftertaste.

APPELLATION  AOC Lussac Saint-Emilion

GRAPE VARIETIES  70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon

TERROIR  Blue clay, silica gravel, clay with crasse de fer.

VINIFICATION  50% stainless steel and 50% concrete, all temperature-controlled. Aging 16-18 months: 1/3 French oak barrels (50% new) and 2/3 in vats.

FOOD PAIRING  Any kind of cheese, meats as well as chicken, vegetables, and pasta.
