94 pts by Decanter for Château Dereszla and its incredible Aszú 5 Puttonyos 2013!!
We have excellent news for the latest vintage of the noble Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos from Château Dereszla!! The 2013 was awarded a Silver Medal AND rated 94 Points by Decanter!!
This delightful elixir, also known as “the wine of the royals” is made up of 70% Furmint and 30% Hárslevelű grapes, native to Hungary. A part of the grapes used to make this delicious nectar are the well-known botrytized Aszú grapes from the Tokaji region late harvest as seen in the picture above.
Decanter’s World Wine Awards described the wine as “Beautifully concentrated peach and tangerine, with caramel notes and honey on the palate. Loads of complexity in this luxurious wine of delicate balance and persistence.”
