Cognac One, LLC. is a Manhattan-based US importer and NY & NJ wholesale distributor of fine wines.

THE ROLE

As a Fine Wine Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and developing business growth strategies within the assigned territory
  • Monitoring sales and implementing programs to increase market share
  • Presenting and promoting our wines to customers and prospects
  • Collaborating with our marketing team on promotions, brand launches, and events
  • Creating and participating in wine dinners, tastings, staff trainings, and other related special projects and events to drive sales
  • Attending trade shows, workwiths, and sales meetings as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the wine industry, preferably in sales or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of fine wines and wine markets
  • Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for the wine industry and commitment to ongoing education and professional development (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, etc)
