Since 1688, the Ruhlmann family has pursued its passion for wine in Dambach-la-Ville. Over generations, the Ruhlmann estate has expanded by nearly 75 acres, a major portion of which are grands crus and wines named for a specific locality. The winemaker, André Ruhlmann, encourage a creative spirit.

Maximizing its land areas, developing new methods of wine production and exploring distant market has brought the Domaine to rank amongst the finest wine estates of Alsace.

The geographical distribution of soils, makes it possible to match different grape varieties to their most favorable Terroir. The vines, some of which are “Vieilles Vignes”, are worked in a traditional way which brings out the finesse and character of their distinctive terroir.
