Bodegas Santa Eulalia was founded in 1950 as the first vineyard in the Ribera del Duero area of Burgos, Spain. In 1988, Bodegas Santa Eulalia joined the Frutos Villar family who has been in the wine business since 1900. Together, they now grow vines on over 253 hectares of land. Winemaker Nuria Peña Albillo has a passion to inspire the appreciation for the outstanding quality of Spain’s wines and its national Tempranillo grape varietal.

“Earthy black-fruit aromas include notes of cigar box. This feels tight and acidic, but with plenty of oak. Flavors of wood spice and vanilla are more dominant than plum and berry notes, while this is thick but not entirely thorough on the finish.” – Michael Schachner, Spanish and South American Editor, Wine Enthusiast
